It’s The Bat Signal For Telltale: Batman Video Game Series Coming 2016

Telltale Games, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced a new iconic Batman video game. The interactive episodic game series is set to premiere in 2016 on consoles, PC/Mac, and mobile devices. Its official title is yet to be revealed. Until then let’s just call it „Batman According to Telltale“.

Within the last years, telltale has become increasingly famous for their unique approach to interactive storytelling. So much so, that it is hard to keep calling them an „indie game studio“ – even though their artwork meets indie standards 100 percent. Their portfolio offers a fine selection of various fantasy and comic book titles – from The Walking Dead to Game of Thrones, to Bill Willingham’s Fables, know as Telltale’s The Wolf Among us„.

The studio has taken on some of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world, and is now excited to announce their new project: Batman. Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games promises fans a chance to „dive deeper into the complex life and mind of Bruce Wayne, the duality of his own identity, and the struggle of responsibility in saving a city overcome with corruption and villainy.“

It is the studio’s record of creating award-winning content that has convinced Warner Bros. to work with Telltale on the Batman situation, said WB’s president David Haddad. „We look forward to working with the team as they deliver a new interactive way for fans and gamers to experience the rich narrative world of Batman.“

At The Game Awards 2015 in Los Angeles, Telltale revealed their announcement teaser trailer of the coming soon Batman video game.
