Following their recent success, Finnish developer Boomlagoon released its highly-anticipated second mobile game, MONSU this summer. A hybrid of platforming action and collectible card game, it is the outcome of months of character design and gameplay development.
The game features dozens of funny characters and a rich storyline and players will immerse themselves in a colorful, action-packed journey alongside an ever-growing customizable crew. Determined to retrieve Monsu’s stolen treasure, they battle their way through never-ending waves of grumpy villagers.

To live up to that, each character features a rich backstory and magical powers that players collect over time to bash, smash and battle their foes. Monsu leads a talented crew and is always dressed to impress. Meet Double Dragon, Bubble Bob and Dinoshi and hit villagers hard with the power of the Blast Hornet and maybe finish them off with a nasty little Spear Attack.
The world of Monsu is vast, and you can explore several territories. You can guide Monsu through endless battles and killer obstacles in eerie caves, the Dark Forest, a scary cemetery, imposing castle and hostile villages and collect and crack open mysterious Stone-Plates to reveal characters, power-ups and weapons that help destroy every villager in your path.
You can also collect tons of unique, epic and rare companion cards. Just smash the Stone-Plates hard to reveal your card – you never know what you’re going to get. Collect them all and upgrade them for the ultimate fighting force!
As the game is also highly social, players will engage in regular online tournaments and missions together with their friends. Connect with your Facebook friends, brag about beating their score and join them in exciting battles.
